Charts

The Charts feature allows you to visualise the filtered values from a data table.

Any filters you have applied are included in the chart, making it easy to analyse specific groups of data.

Generating a Chart

To generate a chart:

1. Apply any filters to the data table if required.
2. Click the Charts button.
3. The Charts panel will be displayed.

Time Periods

Chart data points can be grouped by different time periods:

• All Time
• By Day
• By Week
• By Month
• By Quarter
• By Year

Grouping

Chart data can be grouped by:

• No Grouping
• Per Item
• Per Location
• Per Customer
• Per Account Manager
• Per Currency

Metrics

The available metrics are:

• All Metrics
• Sales
• Costs
• Profit
• Margin
• Markup
• Quantity

Chart Types

The following chart types are available:

• Bar
• Column
• Pie
• Area
• Line

Chart Options

Charts can be customised using the following options:

• Show Legend
  Toggles the legend displayed at the top of the chart.

• Show Grid
  Toggles grid lines on the chart.

• Animation
  Toggles chart animation effects. This can be useful when viewing large datasets.

Exporting

Charts can be downloaded as an image file for use in presentations, reports, or other documents.
