What are Data Tables?

Almost all data in Quick Docket is presented in a data table.

Data tables make it easy to browse your data, but they also provide powerful tools for filtering, analysing, and performing actions on large amounts of information.

For example, you could:

  • Filter for last month's orders and generate charts from the results.
  • Filter for line items with a specific batch number and use bulk edit to update their costs.
  • Filter customers in a particular region and export only the columns you need to a CSV file.

The actions you can perform vary depending on the table and your permissions, but the following features are available throughout the system.

Export

All data tables allow you to export the current view to CSV.

The exported file matches exactly what is shown on screen, including the applied filters, visible columns, and column order.

Refresh

Refresh the table to retrieve the latest data without reloading the entire page.

Unlike refreshing your browser, this preserves your current filters, sorting, and other table settings.

Full Screen Mode

When working with tables that contain many columns, you can switch to full screen mode to make better use of the available screen space.

Use the search box to quickly find rows that match the text you enter.
